This Pepys Series Reprint launched by Gibsons in 1980 stays true to the original De La Rue game, which was hugely successful when it was published approximately a hundred years before!
The stunning drawings on the cards are by Edith Thompson, and are based on Sir John Tenniel's originals in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865), the seminal novel by Lewis Carroll.
